What is Role Playing?
Role playing is acting out the role of a character in a scenario or plot. In a way, we all have role played. You see it everywhere, when you write stories, kids playing, video games, and on sites such as this, where you role play by creating a character and acting it out in third person novel format.
What if I'm not so good at writing?
That's okay, we all start somewhere. Like stated in the General Rules, we offer help to newcomers.
God Modding
God modding is a term that is used to abbreviate Godly Modifications. The word is how it sounds. If you make your character all powerful and having no flaws whatsoever, you are god modding. This also goes along with AutoHit. AutoHit is when you say your character completed an action, that cannot be prevented by another character. For example: Sora swung his keyblade at the heartless. The blade hit the heartless, thus killing him.
Something is wrong there. First off, character deaths are not allowed here. Second of all, Sora said he Hit the heartless. Here is a better way to phrase this: Sora swung his keyblade at the heartless attempting to hit him.
Introductions and Posting Order
When you role play, you are going to want to create an introduction. This simply means you are setting the scene when your character comes into play. However, in this post, you may not attack whatsoever.
If you are in a thread with multiple people, please establish a posting order. We want everyone to have a chance to do an action without being interrupted by another person's post.
Joining A Thread
If you are the one starting a thread, please label it as Open, if you don't care who all joins it, or as Invite, if you want select people to be in your thread. Reason being, we don't want to fuss about who is in what thread.
Graphic Size
Your graphics may be no bigger than 750 wide, and 300 tall. Reason being, is it is ugly and annoying to have the page being stretched by random graphics or signatures.
The Anything Rule
This rule exists for rules that do not exist already. As you know, we can't just write every rule on here. It would take thread after thread after thread, to get everything on here. So the conclusion to this is that whatever staff say, goes. Pretty much, this rule exists in case a member says "Well it doesn't say that in the rules." Well if you are doing something, that the staff doesn't like, it will be counted as rule breaking.
Rules may be added, changed, or updated in the future.
